Join my #Short Journey Through the Trails & Wildflowers of Sierra Nevada – I pulled out some archive photos, SIERRA NEVADA Memories | Wildflowers and Trails Series from a couple of years ago that GIGGLE MY SOUL and make me long for Spring in the Sierras. I hope you enjoy, and if you like photos and video of the places that speak to my ❤️, Subscribe and watch for more.
This is where I found my very expensive water pump hanging today, on this very busy suburban road…while I was at the house waiting all day! Does this not scream “take me” to passersby? Now I will be starting the 4+ hour hold time to speak to a FedEx rep. If you can’t reach me, I’m probably still on hold.
When you’re in the Camp Henlopen-Rehoboth Beach area in Delaware, take a Walk on the Gordon’s Pond Trail. Bridges, trails, marsh-walks, Birds and beaches, sand, Sea air…I’m in love. It’s mid-November, the crowds are gone and it was a perfectly cool, windy but an absolutely beautiful day!

Head to NJ High Point State Park to catch this state’s highest point – 1480 NJ-23, Sussex, NJ 07461.
You can drive most of the way, and then just a short paved walk up to the top. If you’re looking for the survey marker, look in the rocky area, and look hard because it’s hard to see. We didn’t spend a lot of time here. It was a quick stop and then on to more #fulltimervlife chores in town – AKA Laundry day 🙂 We’re gonna hang around and wait for Hurricane Nicole to pass through before heading farther south.
Hoosier Hill – Indiana’s Highest Point – and for those traveling to each high point, it’s probably not the hardest hike you’ll ever do 😀 But it was our 26th high point in the USA. We came, we saw, we went…to the next one in the area (that #shortvideo will be coming soon.

Itasca State Park has a drive you shouldn’t miss: Wilderness Drive – A narrow one-way road that twists and turns through a couple of thousand acres of pine trees. I imagine Spring to be amazing here, but making the journey here for the Fall Color season was absolutely worth the spend. Even better, we decided to bike this road, and some of the other bike trails in the park. I would not visit this particular park any other way. We had so many opportunities to stop and look that we would not have had if we had been in our truck. Now, there are many other activities available here in this area, so we are excited to the upcoming days to check these out too. Stay tuned for more. Here’s the video link:
